Why Cotswolds, why Crowdfunding?

For six years, I have been sending investment ready ‘Cotswold’ clients to pitch to dragons’ dens and investor syndicates in the Thames Valley, with reasonable success.

Over time, I have noticed that whenever I attended client presentations as a member of the audience, the investor sitting next to me invariably lived in the Cotswolds. 

So, when the opportunity arose to partner Crowdcube in a crowdfunding venture, I decided to try to keep it ‘local’ and support both the entrepreneurs and investors of the Greater Cotswolds area.

Of course, the first call that came in was from a London based media company founder who had friends living in the Cotswolds and the second from a previous client now living in East Devon.  No problem!
