What We Do
Pilot Cottage is an independent consultancy that provides critical business navigation and investment readiness advice to early stage and high growth entrepreneurs.
Our clients include digital media companies, cyber security specialists, film makers, start-up manufacturers, telecomms providers and social entrepreneurs. Their requirements are unique and so are our solutions - flexible, tailored and results-driven.
Specialising in investment readiness, we offer a very different approach to other consultancies and agencies. We track investment and angel networks to understand how funding providers are currently investing and we test market client propositions to short-list prospective fund seeking routes.
We also design and deliver Dragon's Dens, offer associated management training and provide Crowdfunding services for investors and entrepreneurs based the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.
Pilot Cottage's founder Michael Howes, aka The Business Pilot, is a co-founder of the popular Everyclick Search Engine and previously founded the Smart Thursday Network, growing the membership to over 500 organisations.
In 2006/2007 Michael programme managed the South West Investment Readiness Service, establishing a network of contacts and working relationships with Business Angels and Venture Capitalists throughout the UK and helping to raise £10.3 million in private equity for local SME's.
